Alyona Dorosh

Alyona Dorosh holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. She also graduated from the Free International University of Moldova with a master’s degree in law, concentrating in international and institutional law. In addition, she holds a Master of Arts in modern and classical philology and completed specialized postgraduate coursework at the same university.

Before joining National Capital Legal Services in 2013, Alyona spent more than 15 years working in human rights and co-founded one of Moldova’s leading human-rights nongovernmental organizations, the National Information and Research Center “Partnership for Development.” She coordinated projects supported by the World Bank, the International Labour Organization, the United Nations Development Programme, the Soros Foundation, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, the Eurasia Foundation, the Balkan Trust for Democracy, the Open Society Institute and other international organizations.

At National Capital Legal Services, she specializes in employment and investment immigration, including EB-1, O-1, EB-5, E-2, EB-2 NIW, H-1B and P-3 matters. She also handles civil and family matters, including divorce and property division, child custody and support, guardianship of minor children and incapacitated adults, and personal bankruptcy.

Alyona Dorosh is a Virginia notary and is fluent in English, French, Romanian and Russian.
